The second annual Northeast Ohio Music Festival has grown and moved to Akron for 2012! Last years festival in Youngstown was amazing, but we’re so happy to have it home in Akron now.
This years event runs for SIX DAYS and includes 105 BANDS!! This is the biggest festival around that will keep you entertained with local musicians from all over Ohio and Pennsylvania. You can purchase a ticket for just $10 and that will get you in everyday. So if you can only stop by a little here and there, you don’t have to worry about paying everyday you stop by.
We’ll start the festivities off on Monday, July 30th at 7pm. Tuesday through Saturday we’ll start the day at 1pm. All days run until 2:30am. There is plenty of time for you to stop by.
New to NEOFest this year is our outside vending area. We’ll have some good carnival food for you to enjoy along with some games and whatever else we come up with!
The Vortex at 1167 Brittain Road Akron, OH 44305 is hosting the Northeast Ohio Music Festival this year. This is open to all ages, but it is a bar setting. The bar is in a smaller building with the smaller stage. So the bar area can be avoided and food and everything else is still accessible.
Again, you can get in to this event for just $10! If you bring someone who is 5 and younger, they are free. Anyone under the age of 21 will have an additional $2 charge.
NEOFest is presented by Keepin’ It Radio, our company that actually started out as a hobby for Dave in 2011. He wanted to do something to showcase all of the local talent and that is now airing weekly on Thursdays 6-9pm with worldwide listeners. We had no idea that one year after his great idea we’d be doing multiple concerts, weekly radio broadcasts, and of course NEOFest each year! NEOFest is one of our favorite times of the year and we can’t wait to see you all there!
